The Aroma Blend Lab is more than a spa menu. The formulas you blend are derived from NRI's published clinical research on essential oil efficacy. Dr. Cavanaugh has spent 25 years studying what these compounds actually do in human bodies under controlled conditions.
When you blend something here, you are working with evidence, not intuition. The Sleep formula comes from lavender sleep intervention research. The Breathe formula comes from respiratory aromatherapy studies. The Calm formula comes from stress and anxiety trials.

Not at all. The process is guided from start to finish. You will leave knowing more than when you arrived, regardless of where you started.
Walk-ins are welcome during open hours. Groups of four or more should book in advance. One reservation type, no prepayment required. Choose your formula and vessel on arrival.
Yes. All oils are pre-diluted to optimal topical concentrations before you blend. We follow the same safety standards used in NRI's clinical trials. If you have specific sensitivities or are pregnant, tell us when you arrive.
No. The experience scales to your knowledge. If you want to talk about GC-MS profiles, chemotype variation, or the specific studies behind the formulas, we can do that.
Yes. Pre-made formulas are available in the shop at the Lab and online. Blending it yourself at the bench is an experience, not a requirement.
