All travel inside of Iceland is also included in the cost, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the views knowing that everything is covered! Please be aware that registration does not include your airfare to and from Iceland or any personal expenses.

We can accommodate gluten-free diets and vegetarian diets. Europe has a fantastic reputation for accommodating dietary restrictions and you will still be able to enjoy all of the luxurious food the region is known for! Please note: we can only accommodate dietary restrictions that are disclosed in advance.

The schedule is packed with unique adventures. However, we usually conclude around 6:30pm and you are free to explore the area after that time. Each destination is safe for evening exploration and during the trip there is a good possibility of viewing the Northern Lights during nights in the countryside.

Trip Schedule

SUNDAY
Welcome
With Dr. (Hawkins) Cavanaugh
Our tour begins at 1 pm local time in downtown Reykjavik near our luxury accommodations. After welcome snacks and drinks, you'll enjoy a meet-and-greet, followed by a welcome lesson on health and prevention by Dr. Cavanaugh.
MONDAY
Reykjavik
Food & Nutrition

On Monday, we'll explore the food history of Iceland's capital. With an emphasis on free roaming Icelandic lamb, fresh creamery products (cheeses and ice creams), and the island's abundance of freshly caught fish, there is something for everyone. You will even have the opportunity to taste the nation's most notorious food: fermented shark. Back in the hotel, you'll discover the health benefits of a diet rich in fish, fermented foods, and other Icelandic traditions.

TUESDAY
Golden Circle
Natural Energy
Iceland's geothermal energy is legendary. The "Land of Fire and Ice' boasts a high concentration of vibrant waterfalls and both dormant and active volcanos. On Tuesday, we'll leave the city and explore the energy sources natural to this land, with educational sessions on how to use Iceland's lifestyles, foods, and habits to boost our own energy levels.
WEDNESDAY
Countryside
Northern Lights
As we transition from the cityscape to the countryside, our schedule will shift to include nighttime activities while we go hunting for the Northern Lights. Daytime activities are sporadic, allowing for late nights in the scenic yet secluded resort. During the day, you'll enjoy an exploration of an all-natural ice creamery where you can enjoy your treats right on the farm with the animals. We'll also visit a local essential oil distillery to discover how Iceland's native plants contribute to a treasure trove of healing products.
THURSDAY
Fire & Ice
Spa Day
As we transition back to the city, Thursday's activities center on a day at the legendary Blue Lagoon. This subterranean spa is packed with geothermal sea water, enriched with minerals, silica, and algae which pamper both the skin and mind. After immersing yourself in the healing waters, the day concludes with educational sessions on the multiple scientific studies confirming the benefits of these waters.
FRIDAY
Farewell
Cooking School

On your final day in Iceland, you'll become a student of Icelandic cooking. The day begins with a walking trip to a local farmers market. You'll then head to a kitchen to master wild Atlantic salmon, free roaming lamb, and Iceland's rich array of antioxidant dense berries. And after enjoying the fruits of your labors, you'll take home a recipe book before we bid farewell at 4pm
