Overview

Our research team is currently enrolling kids for a stress relief clinical trial. This study is evaluating the effects of an herbal supplement on stress levels. If you join, we will provide a bottle of a plant-based product to take for 30 days. You will also provide saliva samples and take an online survey.

 

Who is in charge this study? 

The PI (primary investigator) for this study, and for all Nutraceuticals Research Institute studies, is Dr. Jessie Cavanaugh.

 

Dr Cavanaugh is a Harvard-trained clinical researcher who specializes in natural product research specifically to improve the health of women and children. With over 20 years of experience in the field and an extensive history of producing groundbreaking research, Dr Cavanaugh is one of the world's leading natural product researchers.

While you are in the study, you will have exclusive access to Dr. Cavanaugh for any questions that may arise. 

 

Who can join? 

To join this study, you must be able to attest to the following:

• I am in good overall health. 

• I do not have any of the following: a heart, liver, kidney, or lung condition, asthma, diabetes, an autoimmune condition, any form of cancer, psoriasis, uncontrolled eczema, or any other dermal condition. 

• I do not have any known allergies to ashwagandha.

 

You must also be able to sign an assent form understanding that their parent(s) have signed for them to join a research study and agreeing to participate. 

 

Responsibilities

If you  join the study, you will need to complete the following tasks: 

• Provide a baseline saliva sample and one after the study.

• Take an online survey at the beginning and end of the study. 

• Take one capsule of the product each day.
